A Time for Everything

A Time for Everything under heaven

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
To everything there is a season,
A time for ever purpose under heaven:
• A time to be born ,And a time die;
• A time to plant, And a time to pluck up what is planted;
• A time to kill, And a time to heal;
• A time to break down, And a time to build up;
• A time to weep, And a time to laugh;
• A time to mourn, And a time to dance;
• A time to cast away stones, And a time to gather stones;
• A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing;
• A time to gain, And a time to loose;
• A time to keep, And a time to throw away;
• A time to tear, And a time to sew;
• A time to keep silent, And a time to speak;
• A time to love, And a time to hate;
• A time of war, and a time of peace.

Reading and studying Ecclesiastes 3 makes me wonder why there are still in 2010 many people who do not understand Gods order and timing of happenings in our lives. And if they know, then why are people so lost and sickly with stress related illnesses?
God is never caught by surprise when we run into problems or have needs, He Knows already. Matthew 6:32b for your heavenly father knows that you need all these things.
It could be a trust issue, if we trust that God knows what we need Matthew 7:7-8 Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks will receive, and he who seeks will find, and to him who knocks it will be opened for them.
We are prone to worry, worry about just about everything huge and small stuff! It’s sad to think that we worry more often then reading the bible, or praying or staying quite waiting a upon the Lord. Maturity takes time. Understanding takes time especially understanding Gods word about the purpose and order of the stuff happening in our lives.

It takes time for a child to grow into maturity. At birth the first instincts a new born baby has is to eat, when a new mum places her baby on her breast it’s the most natural thing for the infant to feed. That’s how God intended it to be, in fact it’ the way He created us with natural instincts and natural abilities. Nobody tells the new born body to grow or how to grow! It just happens! That’s our God He makes all things perfect.
There is time for everything under the sun. God in His wisdom has planed and put everything in place even before we were born. Developing the natural instincts to go to God for all that we need, just like a new born instinctively knows where to find nourishment so we also should know where our source of hope is. Let’s work on developing TRUST in God and His perfect will for our lives. Knowing that He wants what’s best for us! Thanks for stopping by! Come back soon!
